Our OCRS system is based on data collected by the DVSA over a rolling three year period. There are two areas where this data is gathered.
Roadworthiness: The vehicles maintenance, annual test results and vehicle encounters (Driver daily walk round checks and roadside inspections)
Traffic: Roadside Inspections and Prosecutions (Drivers Hours, Tachograph offences and weight checks)
As an operator you get points when a test or inspection finds a defect or infringement of the rules . The more serious the defect or infringement, the more points.
For easy reference for your score a traffic light system is in place: G (Green – Lowest Risk) A (Amber – Medium Risk) R (Red – Highest Risk)
You may not have a score if your vehicle is unknown to the DVSA
